What is Dine in CT?

Dine In Connecticut started in 2012 with 11 restaurant partners, and has grown into the state's largest premier restaurant delivery network. With more than 150 restaurant partners, and growing, the Mobile Waiters and Mobile Caterers can gain access to a broad variety of restaurant delivery opportunities.

We are also a marketing company. We create TV commercials, Radio Ads, Menu Guides, Digital Ads, and many other types of marketing to bring our restaurant partners new customers and repeat business. This benefits Mobile Waiters and Mobile Caterers with more high dollar deliveries which can result in higher income.

We do large orders every day! Dine In Connecticut has developed an extensive corporate customer base that orders complete buffets, party platters, and specialty items - in addition to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other services.

The Dine In Connecticut support team helps the Mobile Waiters and Mobile Caterers with each order.

• We ask the customer for a gratuity on your behalf if they don’t add it to the order.
• We provide you with special guidance regarding the restaurant and the customer to make your delivery efforts successful.
• We manage your deliveries to efficiently move you between restaurants and customers.

Mobile Waiters receive 100% of the gratuities and most of the delivery charges. Gratuities usually range between 15% to 22%. Delivery charges range from $2.99 - $10.99 based on the distance from the restaurant to the customer.

We encourage the Mobile Waiters and Mobile Caterers to use thermal bags, carry utensils, napkins, plates, and other consumables at all times. This is part of the premium service Dine In Connecticut provides to the restaurant and their customers. For a small deposit we provide a starter-kit including two thermal bags, Dine In Connecticut branded shirt and mask, latex free gloves, paper plates, and cutlery kits. The small charge is returned to you when the insulated bags are returned to Dine In Connecticut. We also offer an incentive to wear a Dine In Connecticut branded shirt for identification.

We are looking for individuals with the right skills who also have a great personality. Our clientele and restaurant partners love our Mobile Caterers because they have positive attitudes and are passionate about good food and great service. Our ideal candidate should be personable and professional with an impeccable eye for detail. The ability to multitask and think on your feet is must.
 
Experience with:
Setting up and breaking down catering events
Food and beverage service
Maintaining buffet areas
Loading and unloading catering equipment
Tight deadlines and unpredictable environments
ServSafe® Food Handler  Certification preferred
 
Requirements:
21+ years of age
Newer iPhone or Android Smartphone
Reliable hatchback or SUV preferred
1-4 years of Catering/Banquet experience
Daytime availability
Ability to work independently with instruction
​Clean driving record (No DUI, Suspensions, or Reckless Driving)
 
Our ideal Mobile Caterers are stay at home parents, chefs, caterers, banquet or waitstaff. Wonderful for those who work at night are looking for extra cash and can work a few hours during the day. This is great for retirees who want to keep active. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR MOBILE WAITERS FOR

• FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY NIGHTS 4PM to 10PM
• WEEKDAY MORNINGS 8AM to 10AM

We are looking for Mobile Waiters who are motivated to make money. They should have good customer services skills; work with urgency, detail oriented, and efficient. Prior restaurant and delivery experience is preferred, but we can train the right person.
 
NO FAST FOOD DELIVERIES, WAITING IN THE LATE NIGHT DRIVE-THRU, OR SCHEDULING BLOCKS TO GET WORK!
